Food Drive Continues at Zehrs-Stratford until April 14th

Thank you everyone who came out on Saturday to 'Stuff the Vehicles' so we could 'Fill the Food Bank!'

Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will have a postivie impact on the people @StratfordHOB helps in our community. If you missed us on Saturday you can still donate at the store bins and at Stratford House of Blessing (Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:30 - note we are closed Good Friday and Easter Monday).

While we’ve all felt hungry at some point in our lives, food insecurity does not impact communities equally. Some of our most vulnerable community members are the ones most affected: 33% of those relying on food banks are children, despite them only representing 19% of the population. This statistic is mirrored by the fact that 33% of women-headed, lone parent families are food insecure in Canada, for a total of 4.4 million food insecure people and 1.2 milion food insecure children from coast-to-coast-to-coast. This is why the @LoblawCompaniesLimited #LoblawsSpringFoodDrive is so important.
