Our Paint Nights start Wednesday June 5th from 7-9 and new this year Paint Afternoons on Thursdays from 1-4:30

You can invite artistic friends and have a bowl painting afternoon or night all at Factory163.

What is Empty Bowls?

If you have not heard of Straford House of Blessing’s Empty Bowls before, guests pay a fixed price and receive an artist-made bowl. The Empty Bowls event encourages people to help those who are struggling in Stratford, while at the same time, enjoying a night of locally prepared soups, stews, and artisan breads with the option of participating in a live art auction. The bowl goes home with each guest as a reminder of those less fortunate in our community.

We are excited to be partnering with Factory163 artists, again this year, in the painting of ceramic bowls. Stratford is known for its gifted arts community; this project will bring both visual artists and culinary artists together to help support the worthy cause of hunger and the work we do at Stratford House of Blessing.

The Empty Bowls Project, is an international grassroots effort to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger.

If you are an experienced artist, feel free to be as creative as you like.
