Because we are a non-profit organization, we depend on and are blessed with the kindness and caring of volunteers. They are literally the life of our organization. Volunteers contribute approximately 11,000 hours per year. That’s the equivalent to hiring 11 full-time staff! We are blessed to have an abundance of helping hands that come into our organization and donate their time and support.
In addition to the many people that come in and offer their time, the House of Blessing works with School Programs, Correctional Agencies, and Ontario Works to provide an environment where individuals can work, build new skills, and learn how their efforts make a difference in our community.
However, due to the ever-increasing need for the services that the House of Blessing provides, we are always looking for individuals who would graciously donate some of their time in the following areas (training provided):

| Clothing Cupboard | · Wash and sort clothing · Stock shelves and assist clients |
| Furniture Bank | · Receive and stock good furniture · Assist Clients |
| Providing Support for Clients | · Physical · Emotional · Financial · Spiritual |
| Running Programs | · We're always looking for new ideas! |
