the hurting, the hungry, and those feeling so helpless for over 20 years.
This is our 26th year and we celebrate.
We celebrate the incredible caring community we live in.
We celebrate the faithfulness of our volunteers.
We celebrate that our needs will continue to be met
so we can continue to make a difference in our clients lives.

As you will see, our place has exploded,
and when the renovations are done, new programs will be added
to help move our clients out of poverty.

That is our goal.

We don't just want to be a hand out,
but a hand up."

Florence Kehl has been the driving force behind the Stratford House of Blessing ever since its conception in 1983. She has long been considered a kind, caring, and faithful member of her community; she has been recognized by her peers by receiving the Stratford Citizen of the Year (1990), Good Citizenship Award of Ontario (2002), and the Queen's Jubilee Award (2002).
